HP Virtual Client Essentials launched
Hewlett Packard has announced the launch of their rebranded desktop virtualization suite as the HP Virtual Client Essentials.
The company has also now added Linux support for its broker software Session Allocation Manager.
Session Allocation Manager currently only supports the Windows operating system.
HP said that the improvements in this suite would allow the users to experience improved video playback in addition to support for USB peripherals such as webcams.
The company added that they managed to improve the performance of this suite by developing an enhanced version of Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Protocol.
