Picasa Web Albums gains more privacy features

If you are a Picasa Web user, you would like this new feature.

Google has added additional privacy features which truly makes an album private.

Previous options hid the albums from searches but the link to the album was still accessible to anyone.

Newer options allow the user to specifically set the users who can access a particular album.

Users can now pick from three options for their albums:

Public: Album is accessible to anyone. It is also accessible through search on Picasa Web.
Unlisted: Album is not listed on search but is accessible to anyone through a private URL.
Require sign-in to view: Owner gets the option to allow specific users who can access the album.
