Facebook videos now embeddable
Social networking service Facebook has made some updates to their video sharing service.
Facebook is now allowing users to share their videos on third party sites.
This feature is similar to how YouTube enables you to embed the videos on blogs and forums.
Another feature improvement is that the videos quality has been improved to up to 720p.
This enhances the quality of videos if the source is of higher quality.
Another thing about embedding videos is that they retain the privacy settings.
Users can limit on who can see the embedded videos on third party sites.
This is pretty interesting and shows that the company aims to become a leading provider of video sharing services.
YouTube dominates this market. MySpace is also a pretty big player in this segment of the market.
