Flickr Mobile updated to add enhanced video support

Yahoo has updated their Flickr service. This update is related to the mobile edition of Flickr.

This update would expand the availability of mobile video on more mobile devices.

Currently only iPhone or iPod Touch users could run the videos hosted on the service.

Flickr would add support for devices using Webkit based browser or Opera Mobile or Firefox Mobile.

They have also updated the pages which are delivered to the mobile devices.

The updated user interface provide easy access to activity feed, friends’ recent uploads, and other hand picked photos.

Users would also be able to perform more activities using their mobile devices. They can now add contacts, mark images as favorites, adjust privacy settings, and browse interesting photos on the mobile edition.
