OpenSolaris 2008.11 released
The developers behind the OpenSolaris operating system have released the latest version.
OpenSolaris 2008.11 is now available for download.
OpenSolaris 2008.11 comes loaded with Firefox 3, Gnome 2.24 and OpenOffice 3 in addition to a complete web stack.
System requirements are pretty modest at: 512 MB of RAM and 2.6 GB of hard disk space minimum. 8 GB hard disk space is recommended.
This release is currently only compatible with 32 and 64-bit x86 systems.
