Vlingo launches a voice based application on the Apple App Store
Vlingo has announced the launch of their new application on the Apple App Store.
This application enables the owner of iPhones to use voice commands to dial their contacts, search the Web, access Google Maps, and send status updates for Facebook and Twitter.
The aim is to remove the necessity to use the on screen keyboard and use voice commands instead.
The company’s motto is: Why tap when you can talk? And they define their services as “a voice-powered user interface that unlocks access to mobile phone wireless data services.”
