Amazon.com coming to Apple App Store
Amazon.com has launched a new App on the Apple App Store which would now enable the users of Apple iPhone and Apple iPod Touch to search through their web store.
This mobile application is available as a free download from the Apple App Store.
Users can use this new application to search for products on Amazon.com in addition to third-party retailers like Target and Macy’s which also list their products on this store.
This new application has an innovative feature named Amazon Remembers. This would work only on the iPhone as it requires the camera on the device.
Users can take photos of any product they see in the real world. These photos are then uploaded to Amazon.com. The service than tries to match the photo with products listed on Amazon.com.
This service would not work instantaneously but the company is hoping that it would help the customer make smart purchases.
