Good OS announces Cloud operating system
Good OS has announced their successor to gOS.
This new operating system has been optimized for cloud computing services and has been named Cloud. It seems to be based on the Google Chrome web browser.
This new OS boots into a web browser as its user interface instead of a typical desktop on regular operating systems.
The screen has a dock with links to applications like Google Docs and Calendar in addition to Blogger and YouTube.
The company claims that this OS is capable of providing access to regular services like Skype in addition to playing music and running video files.
They would provide more information about this new product at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas early next year.
