Google Chrome would indeed have extensions
Google Chrome web browser has been well received by the web users. It might not have touched impressive heights in terms of market share but people who have used it are impressed.
A lot of users have said that they would shift to it if it has support for third party extensions which have been made popular by the Mozilla Firefox web browser project.
Google has now published a document on the Chromium website which confirms their plans to add support for extensions in Google Chrome.
And one of the most interesting aspect about this document is that it states that the web browser is going to support content filtering extensions like Adblock, Flashblock.
Google is a major player in the web advertising market and people had feared that the company would prevent extensions that would block such ads for the user.
Looks like the open source aspect of Chrome web browser has dominated the company’s financial interest in the web browser market.
