People buying older machines just to get Windows XP licenses!

Sources are indicating that people are now buying older machines not for the hardware but just to get their hands on the connected Windows XP license.

Microsoft stopped issuing new licenses for the Windows XP operating system as they want the customers to move to the Windows Vista operating system.

A lot of older generation machines are available in the market as corporate entities are moving to Vista which requires much powerful machines to run.

And some customers require the Windows XP machine to run older software which are somewhat incompatible with the Vista operating system.

This just shows that Windows XP is still in huge demand and Microsoft is just not playing nice allowing people to buy what they really need.
