Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope Alpha 1 out!
The developers behind the Ubuntu Linux Distribution have now made available the first alpha release of their next update Jaunty Jackalope.
This is the first test release in the usual Ubuntu development cycle for this next update to Ubuntu OS.
They usually have six Alphas, one Beta, and a final Release Candidate before the final edition is released to public.
The developers do not recommend the installation of this release on production machines.
It is aimed at testers, developers and beta users who can check out what to expect in the next major release of Ubuntu.
