iGoogle and Orkut gets integrated Google Talk
Google is now working in integrating Google Talk on their other services like iGoogle and Orkut.
Google Talk is being added to the navigation sidebar on the recently updated iGoogle which most users still dislike.
iGoogle also gets the integration of Google Suggest feature though it can be turned off.
Orkut is also scheduled to get this feature. Chat in Orkut would work similar to Facebook as the user would be able to continue chatting in the same window even if he visits another page on the service.
Google spoke about integrating chat in Orkut: “To get you started, we’ve come up with a formula that automatically predicts which of your Orkut friends you probably want to chat with, and only tells those people that you’re signed into Google Talk. Our formula takes a bunch of things into consideration, giving preference to people who you’ve labeled as ‘best friends’ or written scraps to recently, and people who have friends in common with you.”
