EtherPad: real time online collaboration on documents made easy
EtherPad has features which you had love to have on Google Docs.
This web based service enables you to have real time collaboration on documents.
The service is currently in very basic form but has real cool features.
Every user gets a color which is used to display the text added by that particular user.
Changes are instantaneous and they are visible to everyone collaborating on the document.
They also have integrated a chat which is separate from the document window.
Users can save multiple revisions. It also has support for JavaScript syntax codes.
The developers are planning to add more features which could turn it into a very useful application for corporates and regular users alike.
