Internet Explorer 8 delayed till 2009
More delays from Microsoft.
Internet Explorer 8 is now going to be released sometime next year rather than this year.
Microsoft had originally planned to launch the finished edition of IE 8 before the end of the current year.
The company is now aiming to make available a Release Candidate edition of Internet Explorer 8 early next year.
Microsoft representative Dean Hachamovitch said in a blog post: “We want the technical community of people and organizations interested in Web browsers to take this update as a strong signal that IE8 is effectively complete and done.”
Internet Explorer 8 is in public Beta 2 at the moment.
