Microsoft Morro to replace Windows Live OneCare
This is surprising. Microsoft is giving up on their Windows Live OneCare service.
This service would no longer be offered next year.
The software giant would be replacing this paid service with a free alternative currently codenamed Morro.
Microsoft Morro would be a real time anti-malware protection solution. It would lack several services currently available through Live OneCare.
Microsoft stated that the retail sales of the Windows Live OneCare subscription service will end on June 30, 2009.
