Mozilla Firefox 3.0.4 released

While we wait for Mozilla to release the much awaited Firefox 3.1, the developers have made available the Firefox 3.0.4 release.

Mozilla Firefox 3.0.4 is essentially a security update release.

Mozilla said that this update addresses nine Security Advisories.

This edition is also now available in two new languages: Icelandic and Thai. They are also making available beta releases in other languages including Bulgarian, Esperanto, Estonian, Latvian, Occitan, and Welsh.

Firefox 2 has also been updated to version 2.0.0.18. They continue to advice the users of Firefox 2 to update to version 3.

Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 is already out on their website. The final release would feature TraceMonkey JavaScript engine which is expected to boost the performance of web 2.0 web services.

Congratulations to Firefox for being ahead of the field in introducing Esperanto.

Only now is it understood that the use of this planned language is widespread.

    Thankyou again Mozilla!
