Google App on Apple iPhone to allow voice based searching
Google’s search application on the Apple iPhone would soon let the user conduct searches using voice.
The app would take voice based data from the user which would be sent to Google servers.
The message would be converted into text which would then be sent to Google search engine for showing the relevant results.
The search result would be localized as it would pick the data from the GPS inside the Apple iPhone 3G.
This feature is already mentioned on the App page on Apple website but is yet to be activated.

People don’t do research on an iphone. They do it on their desktop or notebook or UMPC. I found some voice recognition software named Tazti speech recognition that actually is a free download and performs voice searches of Google, Yahoo, MSN, Wikipedia, Amazon, eBay and many other websites. It also lets me log into and navigate Facebook and Myspace by talking to my PC. It really works well.
Here’s their youtube demo video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1tt_aeIAM8
tazti is a free download from http://www.tazti.com
