Sun Microsystems collaborates with Joyent for Bebo developers

Sun Microsystems has announced that they are now collaborating with cloud computing service provider Joyent.

The two companies would now offer one year of free Web hosting to Bebo developers for hosting their applications.

Bebo is a social networking service which is very popular in the European markets.

Sun is hoping to promote their OpenSolaris open source operating system through this offer.

Developers would be able to use this platform to develop, host and deploy their applications for Bebo.

Bebo is owned by AOL.
