Delicious is five years old!
It’s hard to believe that social bookmarking is that old, but Delicious has just turned five.
The service is now owned by Yahoo and it recently went a major update.
Del.icio.us was renamed Delicious.com.
The company was acquired by Yahoo in December 2005.
Market sources say that the service is used by as many as 5.3 million users.
One of the sad things is that the founder of the company Joshua Schachter is no longer connected to the service as he resigned from his position at Yahoo sometime back.
However, it is still the time to celebrate for Delicious members.
