Salesforce collaborates with Facebook and Amazon
Salesforce.com has announced partnerships with both Facebook and Amazon.
They are now going to link up their Force.com hosted applications platform with Facebook social network and Amazon web services.
Facebook deal would allow customers of Salesforce to build applications on its Force.com platform that appear natively inside Facebook.
The deal with Amazon would now make their web services’ on-demand storage and computing services available from Force.com.
Market analysts say that these deals are sign that cloud computing is catching on and players are not worried about working with potential rivals.
