WordPress 2.7 Beta 1 released. Final version delayed.
The developers behind the popular blogging platform WordPress have released the first beta of their much awaited release WordPress 2.7.
It features a brand new backend which aims to make it easier for the user to manage his blog. A lot of AJAX elements are added to make it possible for quick editing of information on the blog.
The developers also revealed that the final launch of WordPress 2.7 is now somewhat delayed.
It was originally expected to be released on November 10. It is likely to come out a bit later than that.
The developers are now aiming to release the first Release Candidate version on November 10 instead.
We are using WordPress 2.7 Beta 1 on one of our blogs and we like what we see.
