Microsoft to update Windows Update

Software giant Microsoft has announced that they would soon issue an update for Windows Update.

Windows Update application is used for updating Windows OS and other Microsoft developed products.

A company wrote in a blog post about this upcoming update to Windows Update: “Over the next couple of months, we’ll be rolling out another infrastructure update to the Windows Update agent. This update makes it possible for users to install more than 80 updates at the same time.”

This update would basically fix a bug which produces an error when a user tries to install 80 or more updates using either the Windows Update or Microsoft Update services.

This update would be issued to users of Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2003 and Server 2008.
