AOL Pictures closing down their operations
AOL has announced that they are now closing down AOL Pictures web based photo sharing service.
They would close down this service by the end of the current year.
AOL has collaborated with American Greetings PhotoWorks. Users would be able to move their photos from AOL Pictures to this service and continue using that from now on.
AOL is also allowing the users to download their entire photo gallery. They can also order a DVD with the images but this service is not free.
AOL is suggesting that users take a decision fast on what they want to do with their images. They would no longer be accessible after December 31.
