Google Gadget support comes to Gmail
Google has now added support for Google Gadgets in Gmail webmail service.
They are offering Google Calendar and Google Docs gadgets by default. Users can add other gadgets by entering the relevant URL as well.
The support for other gadgets is pretty sketchy considering they are not designed to run inside tiny spaces.
But it just shows the power of the Google Gadget platform as they can now run on a variety of platforms.
Google also warns that some gadgets might not work if they are accessing Gmail through HTTPS.
