LiveJournal and WordPress.com faces network based attacks
LiveJournal and WordPress.com users have faced some downtime on the service as they were facing online attacks.
LiveJournal confirmed in a statement: “We can confirm that LJ experienced two episodes of downtime due to network-based attacks.”
it is not confirmed whether attacks on both the blogging networks were similar in nature. Or if they were from the same source.
Web services are becoming more and more important for a user and their reliability has become a major point of concern for the advocates of cloud computing technologies.
Even for a free service provider, it becomes necessary to provide maximum uptime to maintain a reputation.
