Google Earth coming to Apple iPhone
Users of Apple iPhone would soon be able to use the Google Earth application on their devices.
Google is releasing the mobile edition of this amazing application which would enable users to watch our planet earth closely on their mobile phones.
Peter Birch, Google Earth’s product manager spoke about their plans: “The idea of having Earth on a mobile device is something people dreamed of back to the Keyhole days and before. This is the first opportunity we’ve had to be able to deliver a great experience.”
Google is making this application available on the Apple App Store for free. It would be available in 20 nations in around 18 different languages.
Google Earth for Apple iPhone supports multi-touch which makes it extremely easy for the user to play with the software.
It is also integrated with the GPS functionality on the iPhone. The company declined to comment on the possibility of bringing such an application on their own Android platform.
