Time to make sure your Windows is updated
Microsoft recently issued a patch that was released outside their regular Patch Tuesday released.
The company said that the patch was critical enough to release before the next scheduled Patch Tuesday.
The latest news from the market is that a nasty trojan is in the wild which is connected to this specific flaw.
The flaw affects virtually all the versions of Windows operating system and Microsoft recommends everyone to update their installations to stay secure.
Alex Eckelberry, president of security provider Sunbelt Software spoke about the flaw: “This could actually be one of the bigger monsters of the last couple years. Researchers are going to be burning the midnight oil over the next couple days to understand what the real issues are.”
