WordPress.com testing replying to comments by email
WordPress.com is currently beta testing a new feature which could soon become a possibility for WP blogs hosted on independent servers.
This new feature would enable the bloggers to reply to comments by email rather than posting a comment manually on the blog itself.
They are also working on implementing threaded commenting feature on the WP powered blogs.
This feature for now is only available through plugins or third party comment services.
The developers are also working on the next major release of the WordPress platform. WP 2.7 is expected to be released on November 10.
