Apple Computers update OS to Mac OS X 10.4.3
Apple Computers is mostly in news for their iPod and related news. However, Macintosh computers and the fabulous Mac OS X operating system continue to remain their primary products. The company has just updated the operating system of their Macintosh computer to the version Mac OS X 10.4.3. This is the latest update to the OS they call the Tiger.
The update is available in two variants. One is the delta variant, which updates Mac OS X 10.4.2 to 10.4.3. The other bigger Combo update brings either Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.4.1 to version 10.4.3. This latest update is available as a free download from the Apple website or the users can use the Software Update feature built in the operating system.
The size of the update also varies depending upon how updated the system already is. It should range from 55 MB for the Delta update to 109 MB for the standalone Combo updater. The Mac OS X 10.4.3 update is a collection of bug fixes and tweaks, rather than new features or capabilities, and the update includes previous security updates Apple has released for all versions of Mac OS X 10.4.
