MySpace launches Google Android App

MySpace has become the first of the many social networking services to launch their mobile app for the Google Android platform.

This application is designed for use on the Google G1 mobile phone which has just gone on sale in the US market.

This application can be downloaded wirelessly by the users of G1 from the Google-run Android Market.

G1 users would be able to use this app to connect to their accounts on the MySpace network. They would be able to stay in touch with their contacts and friends and checkout the offerings on the service.

The MySpace App also enables the user to upload the photos taken by the phone on their own profile online.

Facebook is yet to announce a similar application for the Google Android platform.
