Microsoft wants to deliver Vista before 2006 holiday season

Rumors are on in the market that Microsoft wants to deliver the retail version of their upcoming Microsoft Vista operating system for PCs before the beginning of the next year’s holiday season. The reports in the market suggests a possible launch date of July 25, 2006 for Windows Vista to enable the PC manufacturers to fully test and start marketing the products based around this OS.

They know that the sales of computing products touch massive heights during the shopping spree during the holiday seasons and they aim to benefit out of that. The company has not officially revealed any possible date or even a month for the launch of this much delayed but heavily anticipated version of the next generation windows operating system.

Microsoft however has said that they would personally like it if Vista is available for sale in the retail stores before 2006 holiday season begin. This means that it should be available before November next year. PC makers would of course require more time to develop and test products before launching them in the market and hence should get access to Vista Operating System before the retail launch.

Also as per reports, Microsoft is scheduled to deliver the second beta of Windows Vista on December 16, 2005. This is also not officially declared by the company. They are however due to launch the Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 at an event in San Francisco on November 7.
