Imeem releases Google Android mobile app
Web based music service Imeem has now released their mobile application. The interesting thing is that they have made it available on the Google Android platform rather than for the Apple iPhone.
This would be one of the many applications that would be available through the Google Android Marketplace.
The app does not let the user stream music from the web on the mobile device sadly.
But it does enable the user to create customized radio stations, check out recommendations, and buy music from Amazon MP3 store.
The app would be connected to the regular account on their website so the user would be able to access the changed options on both his computer and on the mobile phone.
Matt Graves, vice president of marketing Imeem spoke about their plans: “It’s the first time we’ve ever had a mobile version of Imeem, which is pretty exciting for us. It opens up an entirely new market for us, a new demographic, and a new market of people who may not have been exposed to Imeem before.”
they have not announced any details on plans to make this app available on the Apple iPhone platform.
