Google Earth now displays protected marine areas
Google has added a new layer to their Google Earth application which enables the user to check out the protected marine areas on planet earth.
Google has worked with conservationists around the world to come up with this new service enhancement.
Google Earth users can now watch the regions on earth which are sensitive and protected.
Google Earth project manager Steve Miller spoke about this new feature addition: “We sat down and said let’s open this up, let people around the world who might be passionate about their marine protected area, who might be passionate about the water in their backyard, let them contribute to this.”
