Microsoft Windows XP gets another breather

Market reports say that Microsoft has now given another extension to Windows XP.

OEM suppliers are now allowed to offer Windows XP for another six months as a downgrade option with Windows Vista.

They would now be able to offer this service to new customers buying computers till July 31, 2009.

This scheme was scheduled to end in January next year.
