Aviv Raff reveals some flaws in Apple iPhone
Apple is now allowing developers of Apple iPhone Apps to be more vocal about the device and its development codes.
As a result, an Israeli researcher has now published some facts about the iPhone which can potentially be security risks for the end user of the device.
Both of the issues are basically design issues which are not apparent flaws. One of the issues enables the hacker to hide a part of the URL in the mail application on the iPhone.
This can be used to lure users into clicking phishing websites.
The other flaw is related to how the Mail client on the iPhone downloads the attachments connected to emails. The application downloads all the attachments related to an email unless they are big or very large in number.
This flaw can result in spammers realizing that the email ID is indeed genuine and is checked by the end user.
