Microsoft launches Magellan Learning Suite for Portugal laptop
US based software giant Microsoft has launched a software package named Magellan Learning Suite for a cheap laptop computer that is going on sale in Portugal for school kids.
Portugal is all set to supply Magellan laptop to schools in the country. The device costs just around 50 Euros.
It would also be exported to other nations including Latin America and Africa.
The package comes with Windows XP and Office in addition to some other applications.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer spoke about this package: “This is a unique, amazing and wonderful programme on a global scale. It’s a great example to show how the private and public sectors can work together to create new opportunities.”
