iNotes Ultralite: IBM launching Lotus Notes on Apple iPhone
IBM has announced that they are all set to support Apple iPhone with their Lotus Notes application.
This is not going to be a full fledged offering but would enable access to the service through the Apple Safari iPhone browser.
The application is named iNotes Ultralite and it would be made available for both Notes administrators and iPhone users.
It’s not a regular Apple iPhone App as it is accessed from the web browser already available on the device.
To support Apple iPhone users on the network, administrators would require installing IBM Lotus Domino Web Access 8.0.2.
IBM and Apple are also said to be working to bring Lotus Notes Traveler software to the iPhone.
