StumbleUpon launches discovery engine
StumbleUpon has announced the launch of some new features which further enhances the usability of the service.
The company has now made available their discovery engine service which enables the user to search the internet for specific targets.
The service delivers the websites which are relevant to the interests of the user.
StumbleUpon general manager Michael Buhr spoke about this new enhancement: “Search is really powerful when you know what you’re looking for. Discovery is more about when you want to explore your interests. It is not about needing to find something now.”
The service is owned by eBay and reports in the media have been claiming that the company wants to sell off this not so profitable unit.
