Microsoft to deliver JQuery JavaScript library with Visual Studio
US based software giant Microsoft has said that they would be delivering their Visual Studio suite with the JQuery JavaScript library.
Microsoft said that this library would be one of the libraries used to implement higher-level controls in the ASP.net Ajax Control Toolkit.
They would deliver the library as it is and it would be in compliance with the JQuery MIT license.
The company would also be contributing to the JQuery open-source project with tests, bug fixes, and patches.
Incidentally, Nokia is also working on using jQuery to develop applications for their WebKit-based Web Run-Time.
