Nero LiquidTV/TiVo PC: TiVo to bring recorder functionality to PCs
TiVo and Nero are collaborating to bring out a software suite that would bring the functionality of a TiVo box to personal computers.
The software kit named Nero LiquidTV/TiVo PC would retail for USD 199 and would go on sale next month.
It would come with a remote control in addition to a TV Tuner card that would plug-in into the computer.
The user interface would mimic the one featured on regular TiVo boxes which are connected to television screens.
Nero LiquidTV/TiVo PC would enable TiVo to target countries where they do not have a market as yet.
