Google releases Android software developer kit version 1
With the launch of the first Android powered mobile phone, Google has now made available the first stable version of the Android software developer kit.
This is important because the kit would now enable developers to start coding their applications which would work on the just released T-Mobile G1 mobile phone.
T-Mobile would launch the Google G1 in US market next month. The phone is coming to Europe in the following months.
Google is hoping that the release of the kit would make it possible to get hundreds if not thousands of mobile applications ready by the time G1 hits the market.
They have already announced the Android Marketplace which would feature these applications. Developers would be able to sell them or give them away for free from this mobile store.
