Secure Computing to be acquired by McAfee

Security software company McAfee has announced that they are going to acquire Internet security company Secure Computing Corp.

The deal is worth around $465 million and would be conducted in a cash only transaction.

Market analysts say that this deal would give McAfee more tools to enable corporate protect their networks from hackers.

McAfee would be paying $5.75 per share of Secure Computing.

This is a premium of 27 percent over their current prices at the stock exchange.

The two companies added that they aim to complete this deal by the end of the year.
