Google launches Google Maps with Street View

Google has now updated their Google Maps for mobile application to support new features including Street View functionality.

This feature is now accessible on some BlackBerry and Java based mobile devices.

The new software edition also includes support for walking directions and reviews of businesses.

Google further claims that the new edition is faster than ever before.

This version of Google Maps is however not compatible with Apple iPhone.

Incidentally, Google had some time back showcased similar functionality on an Android powered prototype device.
