Flutter on Apple iPhone can be used to send photos
Flutter is a new application now available to Apple iPhone users.
This application can be used to send photos from the Apple iPhone to other cellphone users.
Until now, users could only email photos to another cell phone since there is no MMS functionality on the device.
Amir Hosseinpour, Juice Wireless senior vice president of product strategy spoke about this new app: “Being in the business of multimedia and other products with JuiceCaster, we thought why not use the underlying platform we use to send pictures. We are in the process of porting JuiceCaster to the iPhone, and it just seemed like we were going to take that big step anyway.”
The service sends a text message to the receiver with a link to the photo which is hosted on JuiceCaster server. User does not pay for sending the SMS but the receiver could pay for it if it is not included in his mobile service package. The receiver also needs to have an internet connection on his mobile to check the photo hosted on the company’s server.
The service can be used on Apple iPhone, Apple iPhone 3G and Apple iPod Touch. But only the users of iPhone 3G can geo-tag the images being sent.
