Firefox 3.1 would feature a privacy browsing mode
Apple Safari already has it. Microsoft plans to bring it in Internet Explorer 8. Google Chrome comes loaded with it and now Mozilla Firefox is planning to add it in the next major release.
Mozilla developers have said that they would include a form of privacy browsing in the next major release Firefox 3.1.
This mode is popularly known as the Porn Mode (as it does not index the websites being browsed in the session).
Alex Faaborg, user experience specialist at Mozilla recently posted on his blog: “Recent development with Chrome will likely make finally getting private browsing mode shipped a priority for 3.1, but I think we are now targeting a more lightweight implementation.”
