Apple releases iPhone 2.1 firmware update
Apple has made available the iPhone 2.1 firmware update for their Apple iPhone mobile users.
This update is also applicable for the current owners of the Apple iPod Touch device.
Apple said that this latest release comes loaded with many bug fixes and improvements.
The company had promised last month that they would fix most of the issues reported by the users of iPhone 3G in this update.
These include fixes for problems like call set-up failures and call drops. Apple also says that this update should improve battery backups.
Apple iPhone users can update their devices to this latest software edition by connecting their devices to Apple iTunes.
