Opera 9.6 beta 1 released
The developers behind the Opera Web Browser have released the first beta of their upcoming Opera 9.6 update.
This beta release is public and is going to be very crucial for the company as they face new assault from Google Chrome web browser.
Opera was already facing much challenge from other browsers in the market including Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari. Internet Explorer continues to dominate the web browser market.
Some of the important new features in Opera 9.6 include:
Opera Link feature has been improved to add support for synchronizing custom Search engines and typed History.
Opera now shows a preview of web feeds before the user can add them to the built-in RSS reader.
Opera Mail has been improved with a new feature which is very useful for people with limited data transfer internet connections.
