Microsoft issues four sets of security updates this Patch Tuesday

Software giant Microsoft has released four sets of security updates on this month’s Patch Tuesday.

Most of the patches are for their Windows operating system. The company has also delivered an update for their OneNote note-taking application which is part of Microsoft Office.

The company said in a release that this latest patch release fixes eight bugs in their products.

One of the major updates for Windows is for Graphics Device Interface+ which is used by the operating system to draw images on the display.

Microsoft has also issued updates for their other applications including Windows Media Encoder 9.
