Symbian Foundation gets support from Opera, Sharp, KTF and more
Symbian Foundation has revealed that a couple of more companies have joined the group to gain free access to its technology.
Some of the prominent new members include Sharp, Opera Software and KTF.
They already have the support of all the major mobile phone companies in the world in addition to many more international players.
Mats Lindoff, Sony Ericsson Chief Technology Officer spoke about these new developments: “This will help drive the next level of innovation needed to deliver new user experiences on mobile phones.”
The foundation currently is working on releasing the first unified Symbian Foundation platform next year.
