Firefox 3.1 Alpha 2 released
Mozilla Corporation has announced the release of second alpha of their upcoming update to Firefox web browser.
Firefox 3.1 Alpha 2 is now available for public download.
This updated edition comes just days after Google entered into the web browser market with Google Chrome.
The developers said that the Alpha 2 release comes with several new features including support for new video tag element introduced with the HTML 5 standard.
This new update also enables the user to drag and drop tabs between two windows of Firefox. A feature available in Opera and Google Chrome.
Mozilla has however not included their new JavaScript engine dubbed TraceMonkey in this release. Users can download a nightly package to get that engine. It can be enabled if the user desires so by following steps available online.
